Rena' Hamilton  |
Bio Rena' grew up in a loving home with her parents, older sister, two younger brothers and grandmother. Rena' liked to do what every little girl likes to do, dress up, play with dolls, color and her favorite of all things, playing house. It was often found that she would rather play by herself even with a house full of kids her age. One day, her mother asked her why she didn't play with the other kids. At that, Rena' responded, "because they don't know how to play. When you are being the mommy, you have to act like a real mommy. Not like a kid pretending." From then on, everyone knew that Rena's life calling was to act. Rena' had a pretty rough time in school with no friends and being bullied so she decided to home school. A week into her freshman year, she found out that her public school had a speech and drama team and she made a quick decision to face the bullying again so that she could be a part of that. Rena' set a new record for most awards won as a rookie by 2 awards. From then on, she was unstoppable. She earned a degree of merit in the National Forensics League, but soon had to leave school to take care of an ill aunt. Rena' knew that leaving school was a life changing event but she did not hesitate in doing it for the aunt she so dearly loved. Rena' has done theater, student films, short films and was the spokes model for a photography studio....although she hasn't done any other modeling. She has been writing poems, songs and monologues since early childhood and is now writing film and episodic series. Translate This Page |
